Experience the Kenyan savannah wilderness. See its animals live, including lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras and hippos. Wildebeest traverse its plains during their annual migration. The landscape has grassy plains and rolling hills, and is crossed by the Mara and Talek rivers.

The area nearby is dotted with villages (enkangs) of the Maasai people.

Itinerary

Day 1Nairobi / Maasai Mara

After breakfast departs for Maasai Mara along the floor of the Great Rift Valley via Narok the only Maasai town near Mara, then climb the western wall entering Hemmingway’s country that board Serengeti plains, arriving Mara in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive, dinner, and overnight at Mara Camp/lodge.

Day 2Maasai Mara

A full day spent game viewing across the rich tree stubbed grasslands and rolling hills. The famous Mara renowned for its great herds of plain game, black manned lion, leopard, and cheetah, among many other types of wildlife, not forgetting the annual wildebeest migration. Meals and overnight at the lodge/camp.
