Located in the Coast Province of Kenya, Tsavo West National Park covers an area of 9,065 square kilometres. The A109 road Nairobi-Mombasa and a railway divides it from the adjoining Tsavo East National Park. Together with adjoining ranches and protected areas, they comprise the Tsavo Conservation Area. Tsavo West is a more popular destination[1] on account of its magnificent scenery, Mzima Springs, rich and varied wildlife, good road system, rhino reserve, rock climbing potential and guided walks along the Tsavo River. The park is operated by Kenya Wildlife Service.

Thereafter, we will have another stunning game drive En-route to our Lodge or a new home for our mouth-watering dinner. With luck, we will be able to see the elusive Leopard. This Park lies on one of the main migration routes for northern hemisphere birds including Eleonora’s Falcon and the Sooty Falcon. Beautiful Birds in Tsavo include; the Turaco, Ostrich, Starlings, Jacana, Vultures, Guinea fowl, Wobbler, Hornbill among others.
We will come back at 10:00 am for our main breakfast. After this, we will relax for 30 minutes appreciating Tsavo’s Serenity. At 11:00 am we will depart for Nairobi having memorable African Experience because Tsavo West is principally “Untamed Wilderness of Secluded Splendor”. Hot yummy lunch in MtitoAndei town. The birdlife in Tsavo West is as varied as the landscape; from the conspicuous flocks of Golden-breasted Starlings around most of the park, the evergreen Forest Warbler and Hartlaub’s Bustard are in plenty. Tsavo’s position on the migration route makes it a good place to spot some of the rarer migrant African skimmers, red bishops among others.
